KDP Assembly, s.r.o. was founded in 2007 by dividing KABELOVNA Decin - Podmokly (found in 1909) into two enterprises according to product type. The first business (Kabelovna Decin Podmokly, s.r.o.) manufactures metallic and optical fibre cables. The second (KDP Assembly) manufactures cable connections (cables or wire harnesses provided with connectors) used mainly (not only) in telecommunication and medical technology. KDP Assembly is a traditional floor heating mat manufacturer.
