Zinc carbonate formula: ZnCO3.2Zn(OH)2. H2OMolecular weight: 324.15 Properties: White or yellowish fine amorphous powder, smell-less, tasteless. The proportion is 4.42-4.45, does not dissolve in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ammonia, can dissolve in the diluted acid and the sodium hydroxide. Use: Used as the light apocrustic and the latex products raw material. Can prepare calamine and sued as the skin protecting agent, also may use in the rayon, petroleum and the chemical fertilizer industries as the main material of the desulfurizer and the catalyst. On the rubber product, the paint, the medicine and other chemical products, it is also widely applied.
